I couldn't resist. Yes we were there a few weeks ago but A Cup of Commonwealth Coffee Shop is one of the reasons I would consider moving to Lexington, KY. What an adorable, eco-friendly, not-rude place to grab a cuppa. About a mile walk from my hotel, it was the perfect respite on my day off after seeing the Kentucky Basketball team kick ass once again. There you have it folks, the only sports related thing I will ever say on this blog. I realized that I hadn't written about coffee in a bit! |
I had a delicious medium roast from Africa here along with some serious chocolate that cost way too much but I'm still savoring it and I bought it weeks ago…Also their logo is adorable and when you walk in you are greeted by the definition of charming.
Just so you all know, sometimes you just feel like a hedgehog. Especially today because I cannot be in Lexington drinking coffee.
Sending love from A Cup of Commonwealth! Also from Miss Brown. Creating this blog has already been such a pleasure for me. I have made so many new friends and have been greeted in each place with a great attitude and a welcoming vibe. I was so worried about going on tour and living in hotel rooms, feeling constantly on my own. Once I started this blog, it occurred to me that I meet so many individuals in this food industry that, despite the difficulties, love what they do. I think that it takes a pretty thick skin to be in this industry, both in acting and food service, and I have met some incredibly passionate and brave human beings. I have always admired how people can make life delicious, and finally I am able to express it in a creative and thought-provoking way! I hope this blog makes you want to visit new places. I hope that I stick with this thing and continue to write about it, because I feel like I am inspired every day and I look forward to every new venue. Thanks for reading! |
